Two mistakes have been made in Azad Kashmir, admits Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad (Republic Pk) Advisor to the Prime Minister and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah admitted that there were two mistakes there (in Azad Kashmir), one is that all the members of the assembly came into the government due to which the opposition was eliminated and the banned Action Committee came into existence, the second is that the PPP decided not to hold elections by dissolving the government and this is what got them into trouble for 6 months.

While talking to Hamid Mir in Geo News’ program Capital Talk, Rana Sanaullah admitted that there were two mistakes there (in Azad Kashmir), one mistake is that when Qayyum Niazi was removed and Tanveer Ilyas was made the Prime Minister, then Tanveer Ilyas was removed and Chaudhry Anwarul Haq was made the Deputy Prime Minister, then the entire assembly came together, and all of them became ministers, now the opposition is gone.

The vacuum that arose in the opposition was replaced by the Action Committee. So it should not have happened there at all that there was no opposition there, and the entire assembly joined the government in the alliance.

The second mistake was that when they staged a sit-in in October, negotiations were held with them, almost all the demands were accepted, and a committee was formed on this demand for seats and we, the people in the committee, decided to dissolve this government and go for elections.

The PPP decided there that no, we have to form the government, the PML-N demanded at that time that you should not do this. Do not form the government, go for elections.

But the PPP talked about forming the government, they said that yes, you should not join the government, but vote for us like we have given you at the center, we have to form the government, and we have to dissolve the assembly after doing the full time, this is all a matter of 6 months, then we have to hold elections and these six months have been wasted.
