Riyadh (Republic Pk) Saudi Arabia’s new national airline Riyadh Air has announced the launch of direct flights to Pakistan, which will further increase air connections between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
Riyadh Air will start its flight operations to Pakistan in August, while bookings for Islamabad and Lahore have also begun.
Riyadh Air will start daily flights from Riyadh to Islamabad from August 14, while three flights a week between Riyadh and Lahore will be operated from August 18.
According to reports, Riyadh Air’s modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will be used on both routes.
Riyadh Air’s arrival in Pakistan will provide more travel opportunities for millions of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia, while tourism, trade and people-to-people contacts between the two countries are also expected to be boosted.
