- KPK Chief Minister mobilized public in Sindh.
- Altaf Hussain calls him true, brave soldier.
- PTI rally successful after two years political gap.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s recent political outreach in Sindh has become a major talking point, drawing praise from unexpected quarters, including the Founder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain. CM Afridi undertook significant visits to major urban centers, including Karachi, Hyderabad, and Jamshoro, reportedly successfully mobilizing public support for his party.
According to a statement shared regarding the event, MQM Founder Altaf Hussain lauded Afridi’s commitment, stating that the Chief Minister has “proved that he is a true, sincere, and brave soldier of Imran Khan.” Hussain further emphasized the sincerity shown by Afridi, noting that while many make grand claims, those who are truly committed demonstrate their loyalty through action, advancing without concern for personal safety.
Separately, political commentator Mansoor Ali Khan, in a recent vlog, analyzed the substantial impact of Afridi’s efforts. As reported on @MansoorAliKhanLive, Khan observed that while Karachi is a new area for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leader, Afridi successfully established strong contact with the local populace. Khan highlighted the significance of the subsequent political gathering held by PTI in Sindh, calling it a successful rally.
The commentator clarified that the success should be viewed against the backdrop of PTI’s recent struggles in the region. Mansoor Ali Khan noted that the rally was particularly successful because PTI had been unable to conduct any significant political activities in Sindh over the preceding two years. Afridi’s cross-provincial efforts are thus seen as a crucial step in reviving the party’s footprint and morale within the key political landscape of Sindh.
