ISLAMABAD – Arrest warrants issued against human rights lawyer Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and her husband Advocate Hadi Ali have been suspended by the court. The development was reported by journalist Asad Ali Toor in a post on X.
According to Toor, the couple appeared before Additional District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka in Islamabad. The judge suspended their arrest warrants and adjourned the case until September 30, 2025. They are being represented by Advocate Attaullah Kundi and Sardar Adam Khan.
The case has attracted widespread attention given Mazari’s role as a prominent lawyer and rights defender.
