Hyderabad Firecracker Factory Blast Kills Six, Injures Several

Hyderabad: A devastating explosion ripped through a firecracker factory in Latifabad’s Laghari Goth, leaving six people dead and many others injured.

According to reports, the blast completely destroyed the factory and triggered a massive fire. The sound of the explosion was heard across distant neighborhoods, spreading panic among residents.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the site immediately after the incident. Rescue officials confirmed that six people had lost their lives, while several others sustained injuries.

Sindh Chief Minister took notice of the tragedy, directing authorities to provide immediate and quality medical treatment to the injured workers. A spokesperson said the Chief Minister has sought a detailed report from the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad and ordered a full safety audit of the factory.

The Chief Minister further stated that strict action will be taken against those found responsible, adding that negligence in ensuring workers’ safety will not be tolerated.

The incident has raised serious concerns about workplace safety standards in hazardous industries, with calls for stronger enforcement of regulations to protect laborers.
