Four Suspects Arrested in Islamabad Judicial Complex Attack Case
Islamabad: In a joint counterterrorism operation, the Intelligence Bureau Division and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have apprehended four individuals linked to the suicide bombing at the Judicial Complex in Sector G-11, Islamabad.
According to officials, the suspects belong to the TTP-affiliated group Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK). During interrogation, Sajidullah alias Sheena, identified as the handler of the suicide bomber, confessed to receiving instructions from TTP/FAK Commander Saeed-ur-Rehman alias Daadullah.

Daadullah, reportedly operating from Afghanistan and serving as the TTP’s Intelligence Chief for Nawagai, Bajaur, contacted Sheena via the Telegram messaging app. He directed the planning and execution of the attack, aiming to inflict maximum casualties on law enforcement agencies.
Sheena revealed that Daadullah sent him photographs of the suicide bomber, Usman alias Qari, a resident of Achin, Nangarhar, Afghanistan, and a member of the Shinwari tribe. Upon Qari’s arrival in Pakistan, Sheena arranged his accommodation near Islamabad.
Following further instructions, Sheena retrieved a suicide jacket from Akhun Baba graveyard in Peshawar and transported it to the capital. On the day of the attack, he fitted the jacket on Qari before the blast occurred at the judicial facility.
Authorities confirmed that the entire cell, including its commander and three other operatives, has been dismantled. Investigations are ongoing, and officials expect additional arrests and disclosures in the coming days.
