Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan Appointed Chief Justice of Federal Constitutional Court
Islamabad: Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan of the Supreme Court has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan. The President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, approved the appointment based on the advice of the Prime Minister.
Following presidential approval, the Ministry of Law and Justice issued the official notification confirming Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan as the Chief Justice.
Previously, Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan was serving as the head of the constitutional bench. He is set to retire at the end of this month. According to the notification, his tenure as Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court will begin from the day he takes the oath of office, allowing him to serve until the age of 68.
