KFUEIT and Unilever Team Up to Boost Student Careers

Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan — A delegation from Unilever’s technical team visited Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) to strengthen ties between academia and industry. The visit took place on September 2, 2025.

The delegation, which included Muhammad Zahid (Maintenance Manager), Noman Aqil (Central Engineer), Isra Qadir (SUIT Manager), Ahmad Arsalan (Shift Manager), and Ali Ahmad (AM HR), met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Ir. Dr. Amir Azam Khan.

Key members of the KFUEIT team were also present, including Dr. Muhammad Sagir (Dean of All Faculties), Dr. Yasir Niaz (Director Career Counseling), Dr. Muhammad Shahid Atiq, and Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman.

The meeting focused on creating internship and job opportunities for students. The Unilever team also toured various university labs, getting a firsthand look at the facilities.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Amir Azam Khan emphasized the importance of these partnerships, stating that these collaborations not only give students practical exposure but also allow the industry to benefit from innovative research and emerging talent. He assured the delegation that KFUEIT is committed to building meaningful partnerships with leading organizations like Unilever to promote research, innovation, and skill development.
