Karachi: Actress and TV anchor Mishi Khan has once again spoken out on social issues, this time raising questions about Halloween parties held in Karachi. In a recent video message, she described these events as “open obscenity” and said they raise both legal and moral concerns.
Mishi claimed that one such party invited people from different backgrounds and, according to her, crossed social boundaries. She expressed disappointment that no action was taken by authorities despite reports about the event.
She added that while some dismiss her words as mere advice, she feels it is her duty to speak openly.
“It is worrying that such parties are happening in public and no one is stopping them,” she said.
Her statement quickly spread across social media. Many users supported her views, saying she was right to highlight the issue. Some demanded that officials take strict action against such gatherings. Others, however, criticized the reaction as exaggerated and argued that the matter was being blown out of proportion.
