Lahore: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is expected to expand with two new franchises, and Faisalabad and Sialkot are emerging as the most likely candidates.
Sports journalist Arfa Feroz Zake, citing sources, claimed that discussions within the PSL management have leaned toward selecting these two cities for inclusion in the league. The addition of Faisalabad and Sialkot would mark a significant expansion of Pakistan’s premier cricket tournament, bringing more regional representation and fan engagement.
Faisalabad, known for its passionate cricket following, and Sialkot, famous for its sports manufacturing industry, are seen as strong contenders that can add both commercial and sporting value to the PSL.
