Reema Omer Explains ‘System Logic’: All Stakeholders Partner to Counter Imran Khan
- PTI recognized as popular political force.
- Imran Khan remains powerful populist leader.
- Opposition parties failing to compete alone.
Legal expert and analyst Reema Omer recently provided a detailed assessment of the dynamics governing Pakistan’s current political infrastructure, characterizing it as the ‘system logic.’ Speaking on a Geo News program, she articulated that the core issue driving political alignment is the immense public support enjoyed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its founder, Imran Khan.
According to her analysis, PTI is undeniably a widely popular political force in the country, while Imran Khan maintains his status as a highly effective populist leader whose connection with the masses remains profound. Omer asserted that the crux of the dilemma for rival political entities is their fundamental inability to effectively challenge or overcome this political momentum through conventional democratic means.
She suggested that, faced with a popular leader they cannot defeat in the public arena, the remaining opposition parties have reportedly been compelled to seek strategic alignments. Reema stated that this alleged collaboration with the establishment is an attempt to create a powerful counterweight necessary to mitigate the overwhelming influence and popularity currently held by Imran Khan and his political movement. This strategic necessity, she claims, defines the current logic of the Pakistani political system.
