Sharjah, August 30 — Pakistan defeated the United Arab Emirates by 31 runs in the second match of the T20I Tri-Series held in Sharjah. The game was full of action, with strong batting and good fielding from both sides.
Pakistan batted first and scored 207 runs in 20 overs. Saim Ayub played a key role, making 69 runs from 38 balls. Hasan Nawaz also helped with a fast 56 runs from 26 balls. Even though Pakistan lost some wickets near the end, their total was high enough to challenge UAE.
UAE started their chase with hope, and Asif Khan gave them a fighting chance by scoring 77 runs from just 35 balls. But Pakistan’s bowlers kept the pressure on, and their fielders made some important plays, including a run-out by Saim Ayub.
In the end, UAE could only reach 176 runs in their 20 overs. Pakistan’s strong performance kept them unbeaten in the series so far. Saim Ayub was named Player of the Match for his batting and fielding.
Pakistan will now look to win the next match and finish the series on top.
