Islamabad: Pakistani cricketers have stepped forward to reassure the visiting Sri Lankan team amid concerns about security during their ongoing tour. According to sports journalist Saleem Khaliq, several senior players assured the guests that security arrangements were comprehensive and that they stood alongside them throughout the series.
In a meeting held between officials and the Sri Lankan squad, Pakistan’s three captains Shaheen Afridi, Shan Masood, and Salman Ali Agha were present to lend support. The players emphasized that everything would proceed smoothly and that the visitors should feel confident about the arrangements in place.
