Trump Tells Iranian Protesters: Take Control, Help is On The Way

• Trump addresses Iranian patriots directly.
• Demands protesters seize state control.
• US cancels all talks with Tehran immediately.

Amid surging tensions and widespread anti-government protests that began in Iran on December 28th, US President Donald Trump has issued his first direct public statement to the Iranian people. According to global news agencies, President Trump utilized his social media platform, Truth Social, to deliver an unequivocal message of support and encouragement to the demonstrators.

The message explicitly called on Iranian citizens to intensify their resistance. “Patriots of Iran, protest continues,” President Trump stated clearly. “Take control of national institutions, help is on the way.”

In a severe escalation of pressure on the Tehran regime, the US President also issued a stark warning to officials involved in the repression. He advised protesters to “keep records of the names of the killers and oppressors,” asserting that they would soon be forced to “pay a heavy price for their crimes.”

Furthermore, President Trump announced an immediate halt to diplomatic efforts, stating that all negotiation meetings scheduled with Iranian officials have been canceled. This diplomatic freeze, he explained, will remain in effect until the Iranian government ceases the killing of peaceful demonstrators.

This high-stakes statement from the US administration follows conflicting reports and troubling casualty figures emerging from the escalating unrest. It is pertinent to note that this direct appeal came after the Iranian Foreign Minister, speaking in an interview, countered the protest narrative by claiming that US weaponry and ammunition had been recovered from disruptive elements among the protesters. The Minister also mentioned that overseas calls had been recorded, containing instructions to open fire on both the police forces and the demonstrators, indicating external manipulation of the domestic unrest.

Previously, President Trump had already threatened severe repercussions, including a major military strike against Iran, should the violence against protesters continue and lead to further civilian deaths. The US President’s latest announcement significantly elevates Washington’s involvement in the internal Iranian conflict, coupling political endorsement of the opposition with concrete diplomatic sanctions.
