Lahore (Republic PK) A case has been registered against TikToker Kashif Zameer at Lahore’s Muzang police station on the complaint of CTD Karachi official Dost Muhammad Khan.
According to private TV channel “Express News”, the case has been registered under relevant sections including making death threats. The plaintiff claims that he became friends with Kashif Zameer through social media, after which the accused tricked him into sending her abroad.
According to the FIR, the plaintiff has alleged that Rs 194,000 was collected from her in the name of sending him abroad, but the promise was not fulfilled. The FIR states that a fraud case on this matter is already under trial at Gulberg police station and FIA.
The reason for registering the current case is that Kashif Zameer was pressurizing her to withdraw the fraud case already registered against him, the plaintiff added. The FIR also alleges that the accused abused him over the phone and threatened to kill if he did not withdraw the case.
The police have registered a case and started investigating the incident, while further legal action will be taken in the light of the evidence.
