Stage actress Samar Rana has been arrested on charges of torturing and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old domestic worker.
According to a police report, a case of rape was registered at the Nawab Town police station. Police immediately took action and arrested Samar Rana on charges of torturing and sexually assaulting the domestic worker.
Investigating police stated that the 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by five people at Samar Rana’s house. Samar Rana is also accused of torturing and intimidating the maid.
According to Nawab Town Investigation Police, the unknown suspects were also allegedly making videos of the assault. Mian Moazzam Ali, the Superintendent of Police (SP) for the Investigation President Division, said that efforts are underway to arrest other suspects involved in the incident, and justice will be served for the maid and her family at all costs.
