Lahore (Republic Pk) the NCCIA has arrested a person from lahore, capital of Punjab, who blackmailed women by making objectionable videos in the name of online istikhara and recovered inappropriate videos and photos.

According to the daily Nawa-e-Waqt, objectionable data of around 40 women was recovered from the possession of the accused. NCCIA says that the accused had made 763 objectionable videos of women and 1,338 photos with the help of which he blackmailed women.

According to NCCIA officials, the accused had started a heinous business of seducing women on social media under the pretext of istikhara. The process of identifying several affected women was completed with the help of forensic reports.

The accused had made his house and boutique shop a center for so-called online istikhara. Authorities say that after taking women into his confidence, he takes them to his boutique in Anarkali area to blackmail them.

The Director of the National Cyber ​​Crime Agency said that during this time, a brave woman came forward and exposed him, the accused was arrested and an investigation into the incident was started. On the identification of the accused, 2 mobile phones, 2 internet devices and an istikhara book were also recovered.

In this regard, Director NCCIA Muhammad Ali Waseem said that action will continue against those elements who defame the name of a good deed like online istikhara to exploit women. The search is on for more accomplices of the blackmailer, from whom more revelations are expected to come out after the investigation.
