Islamabad (Republic Pk) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a significant discount in the prices of petroleum products.
Speaking in the National Assembly chaired by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Shehbaz Sharif said that a significant reduction in petrol prices will be announced today, He had promised to return every penny in petrol to the nation.
The way the people faced the storm of inflation is an example for themselves, Efforts are being made to bring inflation to the lowest possible level, he further stated.
The Prime Minister said that the government has given a subsidy of Rs 128 billion from its own resources, Now Oil prices are coming down due to the ceasefire and Oil prices will further decrease.
He further said that the Memorandum of Understanding is a great success for Pakistan,Together, let us tell the world that political differences have their place, and the country is one and will remain so.
Mr.Sharif said that this House should pass a unanimous resolution on this important success of Pakistan, that will be a message of unity and solidarity. We are one for national unity and will always remain one.
