According to Geo News, the Meteorological Department has predicted the onset of monsoon rains across the country in the first week of July. Westerly winds are likely to enter the country from today evening or night, under which rain may occur in different parts of the country in the first week of July.
The Meteorological Department said that humid winds from the Arabian Sea are entering the eastern and central regions, while humid winds are also entering the upper regions of the country from July 2, due to which thundershowers are expected in most parts of the country from July 1 to 6.
Light rain with thundershowers is likely in Sukkur, Jacobabad and Larkana on July 3 and 4.

the Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of rain in Karachi till July 13. The weather is likely to remain partly cloudy and humid during the next 3 days, while drizzle may occur during this time. Strong winds will also continue to blow in Karachi for the next 3 days, the speed of which may be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
