Farrukh Khokhar was shifted to Mianwali Jail under tight security, however, the reason for his transfer was not initially known, some sources said that a leader of one party is already imprisoned in Adiala Jail, the presence of a political leader of another party in the same jail could raise security concerns, and the workers opposing each other could cause a ruckus after being released from jail.

Earlier, the Additional District and Sessions Judge Rawalpindi had sentenced the main accused Farrukh Khokhar to life imprisonment in the Majid Sati murder case.

After the court pronounced the sentence, the police arrested JUI leader Farrukh Khokhar from the courtroom, handcuffed him and shifted him to Adiala Jail.

Now Farrukh Khokhar, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment, has been shifted from Adiala to Mianwali Jail.
