JUIF’s Farrukh Khokhar sentenced in PTI’s Sati case

 

Rawalpindi (Republic Pk) The Additional District and Sessions Judge sentenced the main accused Farrukh Khokhar to life imprisonment in PTI’s Majid Sati murder case, after which he was arrested from the courtroom and sent to jail.

According to the details, Additional District and Sessions Judge Afsha Ijaz Sufi pronounced the verdict in the Majid Sati murder case, after being found guilty, three accused including Farrukh Khokhar were sentenced to life imprisonment, while one accused Waseem was acquitted.

After the sentence was pronounced, all three accused present in the courtroom including Farrukh Khokhar were arrested. According to the court records, the accused Farrukh Khokhar was on bail, while the other two accused were brought from jail and presented in the court.

The court ordered Farrukh Khokhar to be sent to Adiala Jail under tight security.

It is worth mentioning that the accused are accused of brutally murdering Majid Sati on August 23, 2022. The Sadiqabad police station had registered a case.

The deceased Majid Sati belonged to PTI and Majid Sati was killed for preventing him from occupying the plot. Later, Farrukh Khokhar resigned from the PPP and joined the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF).
