Cargo plane coming from sharjah goes missing near karachi

 

Karachi (Republic Pk) A Boeing 737 plane of a Pakistan cargo flight coming from Sharjah after maintenance to Karachi went missing in the sea area near Karachi, after which a large-scale search and rescue operation is launched.

According to the details, in the search and rescue operation, the Pakistan Navy warship PNS Zulfiqar reached the affected area, the Pakistan Air Force SAAB plane also arrived from Bolhari, the Pakistan Navy ATR plane has also taken off from Turbat and joined the search operation, while the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation’s commercial ship Lahore has also been deployed for the search and rescue operation.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Airport Authority confirmed the crash of a private company’s plane and said that the cargo plane reported a malfunction in the navigation system during the flight. Karachi ACC provided immediate guidance to the plane. The plane suddenly descended rapidly and also changed direction, after which the plane disappeared from the radar about 155 nautical miles west of Karachi.

Radar and communication links with the plane were simultaneously cut off. The spokesperson said that after the incident, the Rescue Coordination Center was immediately activated. A search and rescue operation was started at sea to search for the missing cargo plane, which involved various organizations. There were five crew members on board the private cargo plane.
