New Delhi (Republicpk.com) Upon learning of the new strategic defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, New Delhi issued a measured and deliberate statement.
India’s Official Spokesperson, Shri Randhir Jaiswal, confirmed that the government had prior knowledge of the ongoing discussions. He noted that the pact essentially formalizes an enduring arrangement between the two nations and was not an unforeseen event.
“We will now study the implications of this development for our national security, as well as for regional and global stability,” Jaiswal announced.
He concluded by reinforcing India’s primary objective, stating, “The Government remains committed to protecting India’s national interests and ensuring comprehensive national security in all domains.”
