Trump to Urge Saudi Arabia’s Inclusion in Abraham Accords

President Donald Trump is expected to press Saudi Arabia to become part of the Abraham Accords during his upcoming meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to a senior White House official.

The accords, also known as theIbrahim Agreement,” were launched to normalize relations between Israel and several Arab nations. The initiative has already seen countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain establish diplomatic ties with Israel under U.S. mediation.

Trump’s meeting with the crown prince is being closely watched as a potential turning point in Middle Eastern diplomacy. Analysts believe that Saudi Arabia’s participation would significantly expand the scope of the accords and reshape regional alliances.

According to BBC the White House official noted that Trump intends to highlight the benefits of Saudi involvement, portraying it as a step toward greater stability and cooperation in the region. While Riyadh has previously expressed caution, the crown prince’s visit provides an opportunity for direct dialogue on the matter.

Observers say that if Saudi Arabia were to join, it would mark one of the most consequential diplomatic shifts in recent years, strengthening U.S. influence and altering the balance of power in the Middle East.
