DG ISPR: 274 Afghan Personnel Killed in Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed that 274 Afghan regime personnel and Khawarij have been killed during Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. This significant military success follows intense border skirmishes where Pakistani forces neutralized high-value targets and dismantled terror infrastructure. The DG addressed the media to provide a comprehensive briefing on the current security dynamics along the western frontier.

Retaliatory Counter-Strikes

According to a report by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the conflict escalated after the Pakistan Army targeted Fitna al-Khawarij hideouts inside Afghanistan during the night of February 21 and 22. In response, the Afghan regime launched attacks at 53 locations across 15 sectors of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, which were met with a decisive and overwhelming retaliatory strike by Pakistan’s frontline defenders. The military spokesperson emphasized that the response was calibrated and precisely targeted to silence enemy batteries.

Massive Equipment Losses

The DG ISPR detailed massive hardware losses for the opposing side, noting that 115 tanks and armored vehicles belonging to the Afghan regime were destroyed in the exchange. Pakistani forces maintained high precision during the counter-offensive, ensuring that every point of aggression was silenced effectively while securing the national frontier against coordinated cross-border incursions. Territorial Advancements

In a major strategic advancement, the Pakistan Army successfully took control of 18 Afghan checkpoints and completely destroyed 73 other posts used for hostile activities.
