Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz shared the details of this development through her official social media platforms. She highlighted that the project is designed to create a sovereign, end-to-end pipeline for content creation within Pakistan.

The concept for the Punjab Film City was first developed nearly two years ago. Since then, it has been refined through continuous consultations with prominent filmmakers, producers, and actors to ensure it meets international standards.
