Islamabad (Republic PK) Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that the establishment of new administrative units in the country is also important so that political power can be transferred from two or three families to the hands of the people, Shahbaz Sharif should resign and pave the way for major reforms.
In a statement on social media platform X, Fawad Chaudhry said that the formation of new administrative units in Pakistan is also important because political power will move from two or three families to the hands of the people, a major obstacle on the path to democracy in Pakistan is the lack of any structure of political parties.
He added that when there are 15 or 17 chief ministers, political parties will be democratic in one structure, decisions will be difficult for any one, so in my personal opinion, the formation of new administrative units is the most important reform, but for this, consensus will have to be created, because this is possible only through a grand dialogue under a national government.
Addressing Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Fawad Chaudhry said that he should resign and pave the way for these major reforms, after the insulting statements of his own ministers, his status has become no more than a dummy prime minister.
