Dubai (Republic PK) A new heat wave has been predicted in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to the Emirates Meteorological Department, temperatures may reach close to 50 degrees Celsius in the next few days.
According to “Geo News”, the new heat wave will affect Iraq, Kuwait, eastern Saudi Arabia and the desert areas of the Emirates the most. However, there is a possibility of rain in some eastern and southern areas of the Emirates, including Fujairah, until Thursday, while an alert has been issued for strong winds and dusty weather.
The Emirates Meteorological Department further said that the temperature in the Shawamikh area of Abu Dhabi has already exceeded 50 degrees, while heat of up to 48 degrees Celsius has been predicted in Kuwait.
