Islamabad (Republic Pk) The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that the formal submission of income tax returns for the tax year 2026 will start from July 27.
The spokesperson has directed all taxpayers to submit their tax returns correctly, completely and honestly so that the tax system can be made more effective, saying that it is the responsibility of taxpayers to submit their returns on time according to the prescribed procedure and take special care of the accuracy of the information.
According to the FBR spokesperson, all the information provided in the tax return must be correct and factual.
He said that every taxpayer should ensure that all the details mentioned in the return are in accordance with the facts so that transparency and accuracy are maintained.
The FBR spokesperson said that timely and accurate tax returns play an important role in establishing a strong tax system.
