Baghdad (Republic pk) Iraq has issued new visa conditions for Pakistani pilgrims, in case of visa rejection or not being allowed to enter Iraq, the visa fee will not be refunded.
According to details, Iraqi authorities have directed pilgrims and pilgrimage group organizers to strictly follow Iraqi visa rules. According to the new guidelines, people traveling alone on family visas will not be allowed to enter Iraq, while single male pilgrims under the age of 50 will also be banned from entering Iraq.
The announcement said that the same visa cannot be used for Ashura and Arbaeen. According to Iraqi authorities, the visa will be valid for only 30 days, while overstaying may result in fines, deportation and a lifetime ban on entry into Iraq.
the passports of Pakistani pilgrims will remain in the custody of Iraqi immigration authorities upon arrival in Iraq, announcement further stated.
