Levy increases, petrol price unchanged, jet fuel and kerosene oil becomes cheaper

Islamabad (Republic Pk) The government has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products, however, jet fuel and kerosene oil have become cheaper, later it was found that instead of reducing the prices of petroleum products, the government has increased the levy on petrol and diesel.

According to the details, under the notification issued by the government, the price of petrol per liter has been maintained at Rs 299.55, while the price of high-speed diesel will also remain at Rs 311.47 per liter.

According to the notification, the implementation of the current prices will come into effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.

Meanwhile, Geo News sources in the Petroleum Division say that the levy on diesel has been increased by Rs 6.57 per liter, after which the levy on diesel has increased to Rs 79.54 per liter.

The levy on petrol has been increased by 39 paise per liter, which has increased the levy on petrol to Rs 66.64 per liter, however, the levy on kerosene has been maintained at Rs 20.36 per liter.

On the other hand, OGRA has issued a notification for the reduction in the price of jet fuel and kerosene, according to which jet fuel has become cheaper by Rs 7.15 per liter, the new price of jet fuel has become Rs 231.72 per liter. Similarly, kerosene has been reduced by Rs 6.85 per liter, the new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs 227.5 per liter. Earlier, the price of kerosene was Rs 233.90 per liter.
