Watchman Held for Entering Female Judge’s Residence

Malakwal (Republic Pk) A watchman at the Malakwal Civil Court has been arrested for unauthorized entry into the residence of a female civil judge. The incident occurred on May 31, 2026, at the Judicial Colony in Malakwal. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the suspect, identified as Muhammad Arshad, scaled the wall of House B1, which belongs to Civil Judge Naila Wali.

The complaint was filed by Syed Ajmal Hussain Shah, the Reader to the Civil Judge. According to the statement, Judge Naila Wali was busy with household chores at approximately 12:35 PM when the suspect rang the doorbell. Due to her engagement, she did not open the door immediately. Muhammad Arshad then jumped over the boundary wall and entered the courtyard by opening the main gate from the inside.

Upon hearing the noise, the judge entered the courtyard holding a wiper. The suspect appeared startled upon seeing her. When questioned about his forceful entry, the suspect fled the scene. The complaint states that the suspect was aware that the judge’s husband was not at home at the time. The judge subsequently had the suspect apprehended by the police guards stationed at the Judicial Colony.

The Malakwal police have registered a case under Section 451 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for trespassing. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sohail Ijaz.
