Islamabad (Republic PK) The next 24 hours are being considered crucial for the US-Iran deal, which the Prime Minister of Pakistan also confirmed and said that ‘we are closer to a peace agreement (between the US and Iran) than ever before.’
In a statement on X, the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that it is likely to be finalized in the next 24 hours, Pakistan is preparing for electronic signature of the peace agreement, after which technical-level negotiations will be held next week but he didn’t name any destination.
He further said that we would like to thank the US and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations and we sincerely appreciate our brothers in the region for their support.
We are closer to a peace deal than ever before. With finalisation likely expected in the next 24 hours, Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week.
